Alumni of GPSA programs can be invited to return as an LIT (Leader-In-Training). Being an LIT is a great way to develop your leadership qualities and deepen your understanding of the developing world, its people, its culture and the many ways you can make a difference in people’s lives. As an LIT, you’ll design a long-term project under the supervision of Dr. Malkin, his staff and students. Frequently, you’ll join a conference call to develop your project ideas. Once on the ground, you’ll be a part of the leadership team. You’ll be assigned a team to execute your project and you will continue to meet with the GPSA staff daily to refine your leadership approach, your project and the work you are doing.
